The 6-foot-2, 181 pound quarterback originally committed to the Miami Hurricanes in July but opted to change his mind and join the Crimson Tide. He flipped his commitment to Alabama in October 2021.

Fegans, transferred from Oxford High School as a senior and helped the Thompson Warriors win its third straight 7A Alabama state championship along with fellow Alabama signee Jeremiah Alexander.

He helped Oxford win a 6A Alabama state as a sophomore, in addition to being a prototypical corner he returned punts and played running back as well. He won Alabama's Class 6A, Region 7 Defensive Player of The Year as a junior.

He is currently the only corner in the Crimson Tide class but Alabama has its eyes on Earl Little, Domani Jackson and others as well.

Defensive line coach Freddie Roach and safeties coach Charles Kelly served as his primary recruiters for Alabama.

Andrew Ivins of 247Sports compares Fegans to former Alabama cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick. He has a family pedigree in football, his older brother Antwon plays at Arkansas State and younger brother Anquon is a recruit in the class of 2025.
