Alabama Department of Public Health Confirms 7 Dead from COVID-19
UPDATE (8 a.m.): The ADPH has now changed the number of confirmed deaths to six.
The Alabama Department of Public Health has now confirmed seven deaths in the state from COVID-19.
Deaths from COVID-19 have now been reported in Chambers, Jackson, Lauderdale, Madison, Mobile, Morgan and Tallapoosa Counties. The ADPH is also investigating five COVID-19 related deaths at the East Alabama Medical Center.
The latest data from the ADPH shows 830 confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus across the state. There are 23 confirmed cases within Tuscaloosa County and now 30 confirmed cases in Walker County. Jefferson County has 249 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
