Alabama Marching Band Praised By Grammy Nominated Artist
It's official marching band season and I love the clips from the first week of the action.
Recently, there was a battle of the bands event in Houston where 8 HBCU marching bands displayed their talents inside the NRG Stadium.
Alabama A&M University's marching band permed and did an amazing job on the field and in the stands,
Check out the Dancin Divas doing their thing.
My alma mater Bethune-Cookman University was in the building bringing the heat as usual.
The Bethune-Cookman University marching Wildcats even played one of my favorites from Silk Sonic during the battle in the stands.
There was one Alabama marching band that I looked forward to seeing at this event, but they were busy at a football game.
The Alabama State Marching Hornets put on a show in the stands during the MEAC/SWAC challenge against Howard University.
Of course, the halftime show was amazing and the ASU Honey Beez grabbed everyone's attention. even Grammy-nominated artist Chloe Bailey.
This is huge for not just Alabama State University but HBCU band culture as a whole.
Does this mean we could see Chloe with a surprise performance at the Magic City Classic?
