Alabama Native and Famed DJ For ‘Ellen’ Show Dies At Age 40
Unfortunate news has it's been made public that Alabama native and "Ellen" show DJ Stephen "Twitch" Boss has died.
According to CNN, Boss's wife Allison Holker Boss confirmed his death in a statement to them saying,
"It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us. Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans."
This news comes just days after the couple celebrated their 9th anniversary, according to Holker Boss's Instagram post.
Born in Montgomery, Alabama and a graduate of Lee High School, Twitch first rose to fame on the show "So You Think You Can Dance" in 2008.
Friends, family, and fans all took to social media with their reactions after hearing about Twitch's passing.
DJ Pauly D sent his condolences online.
Loni Love, an award-winning comedian also took to Twitter to share videos of her dancing with Twitch.
2 days ago, Twitch's final Instagram post shows him and his wife Allison Holker Boss dancing in front of a Christmas tree.
According to CNN, Holker Boss concluded her statement made to them by saying “Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you.”
