Alabama soccer will open its season on Thursday, Aug. 18 at 7 p.m. at the Alabama Soccer Stadium against Jacksonville State. This is the 11th meeting between the teams, Alabama currently holds a 10-0 record. The Crimson Tide won its last meeting against the Gamecocks 3-0.

This season The Crimson Tide is returning 15 players from last season's roster including starting goalkeeper McKinley Crone who recorded five shutouts and 77 saves. The team also returns Macy Clem and Kat Rogers the assist leaders from last season with four assist each and the leading goal scorer Felicia Knox with four goals on the season.

In addition to the returning players, the Crimson Tide also adds 14 new faces to complete its roster. This includes transfers goalkeeper Brooke Bollinger from Florida State, midfielder Ashlynn Serepca from Virginia and forward Riley Tanner from South Carolina.


To celebrate Alabama soccer's home-opener and the start of the new season there will be a student tailgate set up outside the stadium at 6 p.m. CT. The first 200 students will receive free food and a t-shirt. Admission is FREE!
