Alabama Teen Could Win The USA Kids Mullet Championships

Yes, this is actually a thing. There is actually a competition for the best kid mullet in the United States. An Alabama teen has the chance to bring the trophy home in a few weeks.

Before you ask, no I have not nor will I ever have a mullet. I do admire people that can rock the hairstyle. It really takes a special kind of person. You have to be confident in yourself and not care about what people think.

I recently found out there is a USA Mullet competition for the best kids mullet. The top 10 finalists have been announced and Alabama Teen Ethan Boldaz made the cut. By next week, Ethan could win the crown and claim the best kids mullet in the U.S. According to ABC 33/40, Ethan's father urged him to enter the competition, with the first-place prize of $500.

At 14-years-old, Ethan has influenced his football teammates, and classmates at Randolph County High School to rock the mullet as well. I don't know Ethan, but I already see this guy as a leader amongst his peers.

Shoutout to Mulletchamp.com for having this competition. I've seen some pretty cool looking mullets in the top 10. I even a couple of 1-year-olds in the finals rocking the mullet. Even though my son's hair is growing quite nicely and fast, he's not getting a mullet. Lol.

According to ABC 33/40, Ethan, who plays safety on his high school football team and left field in baseball but loves to hunt and fish, sports what the contest calls 'the curly mullet.' He said his hair is naturally curly.
