It's almost that time of year! Online sales, firing up the grill for a BBQ, and the time of year where we hear fireworks bursting all through the night. This will be my first 4th of July in Alabama, and I'm looking forward to seeing the difference in how it's celebrated here versus Florida. It looks like I'm in for a treat because I've recently found that Alabama uses more fireworks than most states in the U.S.

According to Zippia, the state of Alabama uses the 4th most fireworks in the United States. Wow! Alabama is only outranked by Missouri, Nebraska, and Kansas. My home state of Florida didn't even make it into the top 10. I'll definitely be looking forward to hearing a lot more fireworks this year than last year's 4th of July.

Alabama imports a massive amount of fireworks per year for its residents. It's more than 30,000, more than 3 million. Bama imports almost 20 million fireworks a year for its residents for the 4th of July. You'd think with almost 20 million fireworks, every person in Alabama would have plenty of fireworks to go around. With 20 million fireworks being imported in the state of Alabama, that only allows each resident to shoot off 4 fireworks each.

Be sure to listen to our station on July 4th as we celebrate the holiday! We will be on the scene at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater for the huge fireworks show. While the show is going on listen to our radio station to hear patriotic music to accompany the 20-minute show.
