Best R&B Song This Year

As I was listening to my R&B playlist, I found myself vibing to a Summer Walker song. It really made me think about SZA and how her album CTRL took over. I then wondered, "What is my top R&B song from 2019?" Here's my list of top 5 from this year in no particular order.

1.) Ari Lennox- Speak To Me

Although I love the full album, this song is currently my top. It might change tomorrow but for now this is my favorite on her album Shea Butter Baby. If you haven't heard her album, I highly recommend you check it out. Definitely  and underrated of 2019.

2.) Lucky Daye- Roll Some Mo

I found out about Lucky Daye by mistake and I'm so glad I did! His music is so soulful and it just grabs you. This track is particularly a current favorite.

3.) Chris Brown Feat Drake- No Guidance

This is a no brainer! From the night it was released I remember leaving the club after a long night, cutting this song on for the first time and listening to it nonstop for an hour! It was that good then, and it's gotten better with time! I'm glad they decided to collab and bless us with this track!

4.)  Pink $weats- Honesty

This was the first song I've ever heard form him and it's AMAZING! After listening to this song, it made me want to dig more into this artists and find out who he was. His interviews gave me so much insight into the man behind the voice too!

5.) Daniel Caesar Feat. Brandy- Love Again

This is a song that was just added to my playlist but I love it. I have to admit, I'm a little late to the Daniel Caesar party, but this song makes me feel like the wait was worth it. With a powerhouse like Brandy n this track, you can't help but love it!
