As parents, we all want to make sure our kids are happy and, most of all, safe. With the holidays here, a lot of parents are considering what to buy their kids for the Christmas holidays.

There may be a specific item on your kids' Christmas list, or the item that you already have for your kids, that could be putting their health in danger, and you don't even know it.

Black mold is something that could be very dangerous not only to a kid's health, but adult's self as well.

Did you know that your child's YETI Bottle, or water bottle, could be hiding black mold, even after you clean it correctly?

There's a video on social media that describes how a man contacts Yeti to find out how to properly clean the water bottle. Even after he followed those instructions, he discovered a lot of black mold hidden under the cap of the bottle.

Could you imagine thinking you're doing everything right and you're still putting your child's life in danger?

Itchy eyes, sneezing, coughing, shortness of breath, and postnasal drip could all be signs of someone who has been exposed to black mold, according to Web MD.

Luckily, a video shows exactly how to clean and mold-proof that water bottle.

"Most kids’ bottles aren’t designed to be taken apart, which means thousands of families may have no idea what’s growing inside the hidden seals their children drink from every day," the caption of the video read.

The man in the video shows how hard it is to access certain places on the water bottle and how parents could clean those areas.

No one wants to feel sick, especially if it's preventable. This year, now, let's do our best to protect our kids' health.
