It captivated all of us in the Deep South, like Alabama and Florida, due to reports of Laundries whereabouts.

Most of them just rumors but the sad story seemed to hit everyone that followed the reports.

Now, comes word from the FBI that Brian Laundrie "admitted" responsibility for Gabby Petito's death.

The FBI says a notebook that was found near Brian Laundries remains had a confession of sorts. A review of the notebook revealed written statements detailing the day that Gabby Petito died.

The family of Petito has been given these written confessions. How hard must that be to read for her mother and father?

I can't imagine.

Is it closure?

For us? Yes.

For them? I don't believe it is.

I'm not sure if I would want to see the notebook if I was the parent involved but I don't even like to think about how horrible it is for her folks.

This is what we all knew, right?

However, I didn't think we would ever get full closure on this tragic story.

Is this closure?

The conspiracy theorist in me (and many others) has to ask, is this all a little too perfect?

The remains, the backpack and the notebook with his confession inside.

The FBI is claiming that it is exactly the way it happened. It still leads to a ton of questions.
