April is Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month, and we have teamed up with Child Abuse Prevention Services of Tuscaloosa to share resources with parents and families in our community.

Education is a key component of child abuse prevention, and CAPS believes that sharing coping strategies can help parents reduce stress within their homes. This is more important now than ever, as classes have been cancelled and children are no longer spending their days at school.
