Derrick Henry Speaks Out About Unfair NFL Treatment
Former Alabama Crimson Tide and Current NFL Running Back Derrick Henry recently tweeted his concerns about unfair treatment in the NFL.
There are currently a few running backs in the NFL who are under contract negotiations and many believe they aren't getting paid their worth. Many current NFL star running backs have taken to social media to speak out about these situations.
"At this point , just take the RB position out the game then," said Henry on Twitter Monday evening.
"The ones that want to be great & work as hard as they can to give their all to an organization , just seems like it don’t even matter . I’m with every RB that’s fighting to get what they deserve."
Multiple NFL running backs have all spoken up about the same issue from Christian McCaffrey, Austin Ekeler, and former Tide star Najee Harris.
"Crazy" is how Harris replied to a tweet detailing the status of a few prominent NFL running back contract negotiations.
"I agree with my running back brothers around the NFL- history will show that you need running backs to win," Harris went on to say in another tweet.
"We set the tone every game and run through walls for our team and lead in many ways- this notion that we deserve less is a joke."
With running backs becoming a hot topic of conversation, it seems like it's only a matter of time before stars like Derrick Henry and Najee Harris are the main subjects on getting paid their worth.
Could you imagine an NFL team not wanting to pay either one of those players?
