Fight COVID-19 - Clean Your Keyboard

This is most definitely one of the most interesting times in my life.  The COVID-19 pandemic will be discussed for many years and added to history books.  I say it is interesting because it really has made me take a look at how much I touch things, touch my face, and what I clean – don’t clean enough.

In my opinion, one of the most used items at work that doesn’t get cleaned often is your keyboard.  Think about it. How regularly do you clean your keyboard?  What is on the keys, and what has fallen inside the cracks of the keyboard?  Let’s face it, a lot of us, eat our lunch while working.  Snacks, drinks, etc. are all consumed while typing away.

Help fight COVID-19 and clean your keyboard.  I try my best to clean my keyboard before every use and clean the inside, and I use compressed air in a can.  Click here to check out the step by step process with compressed air and a Mac Book from Apple.  Also,  Apple has a “How to clean your Apple products” and that “using a 70 percent isopropyl alcohol wipe or Clorox Disinfecting Wipes, you may gently wipe the hard, nonporous surfaces of your Apple product, such as the display, keyboard, or other exterior surfaces.”
