Public beaches in Gulf Shores, Alabama will be closed to visitors beginning tomorrow in an attempt to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Gulf Shores Mayor Robert Craft has issued an order closing public beaches from 7 a.m. tomorrow (Friday, March 20) through Monday, April 6. Beaches have been closed as the Alabama Department of Public Health has advised residents to avoid gatherings of 25 or more in the midst of the outbreak.
