Third year Alabama defensive coordinator Pete Golding recently raved about To'o To'o and how quickly he's assimilating himself to the Crimson Tide defense.

“We brought in a transfer that I think from a leadership standpoint right now is above and beyond from a transfer standpoint that I’ve ever had. The familiarity he’s already had with this defense coming from where he’s come I think has been good for us," said Golding.

To'o To'o spent the last two seasons with the Tennessee Vols playing under then head coach Jeremy Pruitt. While playing under Saban-disciple for the last two years, To'o To'o accumulated 140 tackles with 1.5 sacks, one interception, one fumble recovery and one defensive touchdown. The Californian earned SEC All-Freshman team for his 2019 campaign.

To'o To'o will play alongside Christian Harris on this interior of Alabama's linebacking core. The pair, with the addition of outside linebackers Will Anderson and Chris Allen make up one of the most intimidating linebacking units in the nation.
