It's been a long time since most of us have felt or seen the joys of being outside. Quarantine has taken a toll on us all and we can't wait to get out and enjoy time with friends and family.

With Governor Kay Ivey allowing more local businesses to reopen, we can enjoy time with loved ones in public as long as we're practicing social distancing. This week, many restaurants and bars are now open. Here's a quick list of businesses that are now open for business in West Alabama.

  • World Of Beer
  • Glory Bound
  • T-Town Cafe
  • R Davidson Chop House
  • Buddy's Rib & Steak
  • Billy's Sports Grill
  • Innisfree Irish Pub
  • Houndsooth Sports Bar
  • The Gray Lady
  • Session
  • The Wheelhouse
  • Tavern 1831
  • The Filling Station
  • Egan's
  • Copper Top

This is good news for anyone looking to get out of the house and enjoy some great local food and good drinks. It's definitely great for these business owners and our local economy. We encourage you to support these local businesses as they are offering curbside service or dining options. Please please please practice social distancing while out at these establishments or in public in general. With the confirmed Coronavirus cases at 10,310, the last thing we need is to be careless when out and about. Wash your hands, continue to use hand sanitizer, and be mindful of the surfaces you're touching.

If you're out at any local bar or restaurant, we'd love for you to send us a photo through our free app!
