Alabama softball alumnus Kayla Braud is returning to the Capstone to join the Crimson Tide's coaching staff.

"The former University of Alabama All-American outfielder is joining in the Crimson Tide coaching staff. Braud fills the spot left vacated by Alyson Habetz, who retired after 25 seasons as an assistant with Alabama. The move is expected to be officially announced this week. Head coach Patrick Murphy has informed his current players," wrote D1Softball's Rhiannon Potkey.
