Yesterday, Scott Cochran made his return to an Alabama football facility. Cochran and others were all smiles in Cochran's tweet.

Today, Scott Cochran held a seminar for some of Alabam's fraternities on campus. Cochran talked about his life as a recovering addict and as an advocate for the American Addiction Recovery Association.

Cochran began his career with Nick Saban at LSU as a graduate assistant before moving on to become the assistant strength and conditioning coach

Cochran won six national championships with Saban before moving to Georgia. Under Kirby Smart, Cochran achieved two additional national championships as the Bulldogs' special teams coach.

Cochran left as Georgia's special team coordinator earlier this year due to a painkiller addiction, which was revealed in February.

Cochran recently teamed up with Jeff Breedlove, a Georgia politician and fellow addiction survivor, to form the American Addiction Recovery Association.

Cochran spoke to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution about the organaztion and the purpose behind it.

"I'm more excited about our mission at the AARA than I was when Coach (Nick) Saban called me in 2007 to be his strength coach at Alabama. We're going to stand tall instead of crouching down. Instead of living in fear and in manipulation, we're going to stand tall. And we're going to wear recovery as a badge of honor. We're coming together as a group across the nation to say, 'Hey, recovery is real' said Cochran.

Alabama hosts their second game of the season this Saturday against USF. The Crimson Tide will look to continue their momentum from last week's victory against Western Kentucky.
