Former Alabama WR Agiye Hall Pleads No Contest to Drug Charges
Unfortunate news has arisen about Alabama former wide receiver Agiye Hall recently pleaded no contest to first-degree felony charges of trafficking.
According to Matt Stahl of AL.com, Hall was detained back in July 2023 at the Orlando airport by the authorities after being found with an illegal amount of marijuana. Hall was arrested on December 4th but pled no-contest in June 2023.
Hall was given 18 months of supervised probation, with the court withholding adjudication of the case. Otherwise, the charge would have been carried for a minimum of three years and a maximum of 30 years.
For Hall's probation, he must attend counseling sessions no less than every other week and continue his college education.
Hall was a four-star prospect in 2021 at Bloomingdale High School in Valrico, Florida. For his senior year, Hall had 13 receptions for 55 receptions and 1050 receiving yards with 13 total touchdowns.
As a freshman at Alabama, Hall posted 4 receptions for 72 yards during his 7-game span.
Hall transferred from Alabama to Texas for the 2022 season. Hall played 3 games, posting only 1 reception as a sophomore. Hall was suspended by Texas Head Coach Steve Sarkisian following an arrest on criminal mischief charges.
Hall then transferred again following the 2022 season to UCF's football program as a walk-on, but according to Knights247's Stephen Leonard, Hall is not with the program or team currently.
