Barker has been on a remarkable run, securing her third midseason accolade in just a week. She first earned a selection to the Ann Meyers Drysdale National Player of the Year Watchlist on Feb. 3, followed by her recognition as the Ann Meyers Drysdale Shooting Guard of the Year on Feb. 4.

Since making her way back into the lineup for the Crimson Tide on Jan. 26, Barker has been a dominant presence. She scored 36 points in her first game back against the Vanderbilt Commodores and matched her career-high with eight assists on two occasions: against the Georgia Bulldogs on Feb. 2 and the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Feb. 9.

The elite guard is among 11 Southeastern Conference players to make the midseason list and one of only 30 nationwide.

She currently leads the Crimson Tide with an average of 16.9 points per game. Her impressive resume includes consecutive double-doubles during road games at Florida on Feb. 6 (18 points, 10 rebounds) and at Mississippi State on Feb. 9 (19 points, 12 rebounds).

Additionally, she currently ranks sixth in field goal percentage during SEC play (51.6%) and tops the Crimson Tide in steals per game (2.2).

With her exceptional accomplishments and steady play, Barker is establishing herself as a significant contender in women's basketball this season.
