Shane Spiller released the following statement….

A Message of Gratitude
After seventy-eight years of serving West Alabama and East Mississippi, the time has come for Spiller Furniture & Mattress to close its doors.

This is not a decision we have made lightly. For nearly eight decades, Spiller Furniture & Mattress has been much more than a furniture store. It has been a part of the communities we have served—a place where families furnished their first homes, celebrated milestones, and created spaces where memories were made.
Through the years, we have had the incredible privilege of serving generations of families.
Many of our customers became friends, and many of those friendships have lasted a lifetime. For that, we are truly grateful. We are especially thankful for the trust you placed in us. You gave us the opportunity to be part of your homes and your lives, and we will always cherish that responsibility.

To our customers, employees—past and present—and the communities that supported us for seventy-eight years, thank you. Your loyalty, friendship, and support have meant more to us than we can ever adequately express.
While this chapter of the Spiller story is coming to a close, the memories, friendships, and relationships built will remain with us forever.

If you are looking to enrich your home, please visit one of our locations in Tuscaloosa or
Northport. It has been an honor to serve you.
With sincere gratitude,
Shane Spiller
