Two legendary hip-hop superstars will join forces for a show at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater later this year, promoters announced Thursday morning.

Red Mountain Entertainment, the company responsible for booking all shows at the venue, said the show is set for Tuesday, August 22nd.

Tickets go on sale next Friday, May 12th, at 10 a.m., but listeners can sign up for Ticketmaster's Verified Fan program until this Sunday night for access to a special presale that begins next Wednesday, May 10th.

The show is part of Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson's global "the Final Lap" tour which celebrates the 20th anniversary of his debut album and magnum opus Get Rich or Die Tryin'.

A press release touting the tour said 50 will perform "dozens of fan-favorite and chart-topping hits along with select tracks that have not been performed live in decades."

Jackson will be supported on the tour by Busta Rhymes, and in North America by singer-songwriter Jeremih.

Presale tickets for the Tuscaloosa show will be available to Verified fans Wednesday and to the general public that Friday at 10 a.m. on ticketmaster.com and at the Amphitheater box office.
