Holiday cheer is coming to downtown Tuscaloosa's Bama Theatre next month as the Bama Art House Season's Screenings return in December.

The festive tradition will see four Christmas movie favorites played on the big screen at the historic Bama Theatre on Greensboro Avenue downtown.

The fun kicks off on Monday, December 16th with a screening of "The Santa Clause."

The next week, on December 22nd, Bama Art House will air "It's a Wonderful Life."

The following day, a double header starts with "Christmas with the Kranks" and wraps up with "The Polar Express."

Each showing begins at 7 p.m., except the earlier Tuesday showing of "Christmas with the Kranks," which starts at 2 p.m.

Tickets for each show cost $11.50 for adults with discounts available for senior citizens, students and members of the Arts Council of Tuscaloosa.

Special $20 Golden Ticket packages are also available for the Polar Express screening that include a movie ticket, a meet and greet with Santa and Mrs. Claus and a free popcorn and drink from the concession stand.
