No One Hurt in Major House Fire Near Lake Tuscaloosa Monday
No one was hurt in a massive house fire that engulfed a home near Lake Tuscaloosa Monday evening.
The Carroll's Creek Fire Protection District took to Facebook before dawn Tuesday morning to share a photo of the blaze and inform readers that although the house was engulfed, no one was injured.
The volunteer firefighters said they responded to the fire, which broke out inside a home in the Stone Harbor Drive neighborhood on Lake Tuscaloosa.
Carroll's Creek said they were joined in responding to the fire by the Tuscaloosa Fire Rescue Service, Northstar EMS and the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office.
There was no word Tuesday morning on what may have sparked the inferno, but an investigation will be conducted to find out what happened.
