Jacquees has responded to YK Osiris saying he is better than the Atlanta crooner.

On Sunday (Oct. 13), 'Quees posted and deleted a video on Instagram where he goes at the 2019 XXL Freshman.

"Aye, man. I was gonna let the little nigga breathe," the "King of R&B" starts. "YK Osiris, stop knocking on my fucking door. Stop asking me for big bro advice. Stop. You had my name in your mouth with Sway, that was a mistake. You can't sing like me, lil' bro. I wanted you to win, I still do. Don't bring my muthafuckin' name up. You not on my level. At all."

Jacquees' reaction was in response to an interview YK did with MTV's Sway Calloway on Friday (Oct. 11), where he told the host Jacquees wasn't on his level as an artist. During the sit-down, Sway asked The Golden Child singer about a recent Instagram post where he claimed to be the "king of R&B of this generation," a title Jacquees has previously claimed (and faced backlash for).

After admitting to Sway that Chris Brown is the official crown holder of the genre, YK explained himself.

"In the new generation, it's not a lot of singers," he said around the tw0-minute mark of the interview. "Jacquees, you feel me. I don't think he really messing with me like that. Not music-wise. Now, vocals, yeah, he got it. But just music, nah, for sure."

YK has since responded to Jacquees on Instagram.

"Jacquees said I can't sing," he says before laughing. "Stop it. Please, stop it."

He continues to address his contemporary in follow-up clips.

"I only dropped three songs, four songs and I live in your neighborhood," he adds before challenging Jacquees to "go song for song."

The two singers have since gotten on Instagram Live together to try and talk things out. In the Live video, YK tries to explain he was only using the same energy Jacquees did when he claimed he was the king of R&B.

"You gotta know who you playing with," Jacquees counters. "When you mention Jacquees, you gotta know who you talking 'bout."

It is unclear if they've totally settled their differences.
