The artist formerly known as Kanye West has a new name and a new look. It is now official that the rapper will go by Ye.

A Los Angeles judge just approved his request that was originally petitioned back in August, according to Deadline.

If you all remember, he named his studio album Ye in 2018, while also spreading the true meaning of the name from a biblical perspective in an interview with radio vet, Big Boy.

And while we are talking name changes -- things are still up in the air when it comes to his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian-West, as to whether she will keep or drop the name.

I'm sure she will have plenty of time to think about it in the 5,000 square foot home she just won in the divorce settlement. I'm 99.9% positive there a million thinking chairs in that house.

What are your thoughts on Kanye's name change? Do you think it'll stick?
