In his time at Alabama, Jones received the opportunity to back up Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa, all of which received the honor of being voted as Heisman Trophy finalists.

While Jones didn’t earn the starting quarterback job until this season, the “Joker” made history with his explosive arm. In addition, Jones finished third in the 2020 Heisman race, trailing behind winner Devonta Smith and Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

During his time at Alabama, Jones recorded a 74.3% completion percentage.

Throughout the 2020 national championship campaign, Jones passed for 41 touchdowns, 4,500 yards, and only four interceptions.

On the ground, Jones was able to rush for one touchdown and 14 yards.

During his career, Jones finished with over 6,000 yards, 56 touchdowns, and seven interceptions.

In total, Jones accounted for 58 total touchdowns and 6,168 yards.

In 2020 Jones filled his trophy case with an SEC Championship, a National Championship, the Davey O'Brien Award, Johnny Unitas Golden Arm, Consensus All-American, First Team All-SEC and the SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year.

As of today, Jones is projected to be a first-round draft pick in the upcoming NFL Draft in late April.

Along with Jones, underclassmen receiver Jaylen Waddle, defensive back Patrick Surtain II, and defensive lineman Christian Barmore all declared for the Draft.
