Major Wreck in McCalla, Alabama Causing Delays Tuesday Afternoon
A serious wreck in McCalla along Interstate 20/59 Westbound is causing major delays.
Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Traffic Correspondent "Captain" Ray Allen reported that the accident occurred Tuesday afternoon near Lake View at Exit 100.
A vehicle caught fire and reportedly brought traffic to a standstill past Academy Drive in Bessemer and I-459 in McCalla.
Drivers are encouraged to find another route of travel as the interstate is reportedly stalled for a six- to seven-mile stretch.
