Explaining what went into his decision, Formby said, "I started to feel these relationships and where I feel like I could be comfortable at. I want to know that I'm going to develop at a place and I'm gonna feel comfortable there and succeed in the offense," Formby continued, "It was a lot of praying and I finally felt at peace with the decision, so I pulled that trigger

The 14th ranked prospect in all of Alabama will make his first official visit this weekend, heading just a few hours west to Oxford, MS, and will take the remainder of his official visits in June.

"I'm definitely looking forward to it. I just want to see where I feel the most comfortable and where I feel at peace and feel like I can play and develop," Formby said.

The Tuscaloosa native opened up on what he looks for in a school while making his decision, saying, "I look forward to playing at a place where I can develop on and off the field for sure. I want to win games. I'm a competitor and I want to win and I want to develop into the best person and player I can be."

Northridge recently hired former Gordo Green Wave coach Ryan Lolley after the departure of Mike Vickery to Pelham this offseason and the Jaguars will kick off their 2022 season on August 19 against the Eagles of Oak Mountain. Formby has an entire senior season to play before he makes his final decision; will the local prospect roll with the Tide?
