One Dead After Early Morning Shooting in Tuscaloosa
A 42-year-old is dead after an early morning shooting in Tuscaloosa Monday, the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit has confirmed.
Lt. Jack Kennedy, the assistant commander of the VCU, said officers were called to the 2600 block of 25th Street in Tuscaloosa around 2 a.m. Monday after several people called 911 to report a shooting.
Kennedy said police found the victim, 42-year-old Quintin Benson, had been shot and rushed him to DCH Regional Medical Center for treatment where he died later Monday morning.
