A West Alabama School System has enacted a mask mandate as confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus continue to climb.

The Pickens County School System announced late Monday night that all students, faculty, and anyone inside a facility or classroom operated by the school system will be required to wear a face mask. Students will also be required to wear masks while on school busses.

The mask mandate begins Tuesday, August 31.
