In a bid to prioritize the health and wellness of its students, faculty, and staff, Stillman College is gearing up to host the much-anticipated "Health and Fitness on the 1st" event on Friday, September 1st.

This event marks the launch of the Campus Wellness Program, an initiative aimed at fostering a culture of well-being and healthy living within the Stillman College community.'

Stillman College's campus, the "Health and Fitness on the 1st" event is a day-long celebration that promises a blend of education, physical activity, and fun. It's an opportunity for attendees to engage with wellness professionals, participate in unique fitness activities, and win exciting giveaways.

The event, spearheaded by the Stillman College Campus Wellness Program, invites all Stillman students, faculty, and staff to partake in its festivities. With a schedule spanning from 7:15 a.m. to 5 p.m., participants are in for a day filled with invigorating experiences.

 

Events include

Yoga in the Quad

  1. ▪ Time: Set-up 7:15 a.m.
    ▪ Attire: Yoga pants/tights and comfortable shirt/tank
    ▪ Bring your own yoga mats
    ▪ A limited amount of yoga mats will be available onsiteHealth Nutrition Station in Cafeteria

▪ Time: 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
▪ Make your own healthy smoothie
▪ Make your own healthy granola, fruit, and oat bar

#StillWell Fitness Competition

▪ Time: 11:00 a.m.-1 p.m.
▪ Attire: Athletic Clothing
▪ Sign-up, Onsite
▪ Competitions will take place each hour ▪ Gifts Cards provided to all winners

▪ Hay Center, 2nd Floor
Hip Hop Fitness & Dance Class

▪ Time: 4 p.m.
▪ Attire: Athletic Clothing ▪ Birthright Gymnasium
