It's almost time for the graduating class of 2021 to walk the stage at Stillman College. We're going to celebrate the Stillman seniors in a major way!
Stillman College is like my second home here in Tuscaloosa. As an HBCU graduate, I understand the culture, love, and traditions other HBCU institutions have. One thing I know that's true at all HBCU's is that they know how to party! If you know me, whenever I step behind the turntables, that's exactly what I like to create. One big party!
Thursday, April 8th, 2021, 105.1 The Block will take over the campus of Stillman College for their Senior Celebration. It's all going down on Greek Lane starting at 11:30a. We're turning up until 3p and music will be provided by yours truly, The Big Dawg DreDay.
You know it's not a real party without food. Yes, food will be there along with some prizes, cap & gown headshots, graduate school, and employment opportunities, and more!
I can't wait to celebrate all of the hard work of these seniors. This school year has been one for the books. The struggle of battling through the pandemic alone was a lot to deal with. Adding the stress of not knowing how the school year will go with distance learning, being tested multiple times for COVID-19, and family issues are more than enough on your plate as a student. It's safe to say that these seniors deserve a major celebration for all of their hard work.
