The mayors of Tuscaloosa and Auburn will continue their annual commitment of pouring back into the community through their friendly Iron Bowl competition, which was announced Monday.
In Alabama, one such decision affected both the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Auburn Tigers as Mobile 4-star linebacker Robert Woodyard flipped his commitment from the Crimson Tide and ultimately signed his letter of intent for the Tigers.
Auburn junior quarterback Bo Nix announced through his social media accounts on Sunday night that he would be entering the transfer portal. Nix has started for the Tigers for the last three seasons, however his 2021 season was cut short due to an ankle injury.
Auburn University wide receiver, Seth Williams, will declare for the NFL Draft, according to Matt Zenitz of AL.com. Williams led the Tigers in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns as a junior. The 6-foot-3 receiver is a 2018 graduate of Paul Bryant High School.
