The mayors of Tuscaloosa and Auburn will continue their annual commitment of pouring back into the community through their friendly Iron Bowl competition, which was announced Monday.
One lucky teacher from Alabama will score tickets to watch the Alabama Crimson Tide take on the Auburn Tigers at the end of the month, courtesy of the king and queen of Alabama football.
2017 aside, the Iron Bowl is never irrelevant. The Crimson Tide will head to Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 27 to take on its biggest rival but the Auburn Tigers will be without two of its biggest names.

The third year starter from Pinson Valley High School is 1-1 in his two Iron Bowls and expressed confidence facing the Tide as the game will return to Jordan Hare Stadium this season.
The game-winning score came on a 4-yard play-action pass from McElroy to senior running back Roy Upchurch. Then freshman sensation, Richardson touched the ball on the three prior plays for the Tide, one on screen and two rushes out of the backfield.
