The Alabama Crimson Tide baseball team has hired former SEC Player of the Year Hunter Morris as an assistant coach. Morris was the 2008 SEC Freshman of the year and the 2010 SEC Player of the Year at Auburn University. He spent his last three years working as an assistant coach at UT-Martin.

Prielipp only appeared in three games in 2021 for Alabama, leaving a big hole in the Crimson Tide's rotation this year.
