I love recognizing great things happening in the community. In my opinion, supporting the next generation requires action so they know you really care. Central High School recently held an event showcasing its student entrepreneurs.

Central High School had its first Student Entrepreneur Showcase. According to a post on their Facebook page, "Students from all grade levels who have used their skills to do everything from braid hair to making bracelets and t-shirts set up as vendors and showcased their skills and products for their classmates to see!"

Central High School Showcases Student Entrepreneurs

I think one of the reasons I love this so much is that growing up in school, we were always taught to not sell things in school. I used to look forward to going to my homegirl that sold Skittles and Starburst before lunch. It was my perfect snack that got me through my English class. Lol!

With all of the student entrepreneurs, it's really a testament to the faculty and staff at Central high. It shows me that they cultivate creativity and critical thinking with their students. As a business owner myself, I know it's not easy and you have to possess both of those skills and more.

Huge shoutout to Central High School for this amazing event. Please continue to pour into your kids, and I hope to see pictures from the next Student Entrepreneur Showcase.
