Back in March, I took a visit to an elementary school in Bessemer, Alabama. Right before I left, the students had me make a promise to come back and see them.

Not only did I keep that promise, but I brought more friends with me to surprise the students!

After Miss Bethune's 2nd-grade class went viral for imitating a college greek letter organization, I stayed in contact with the teacher of the class and I got to surprise the students.

The initial visit was so amazing. The students were too happy that I came to visit them and I even brought members of Alpha Kappa Alpha to see the students, since that's who they went viral imitating.

It was one of the best days ever. The students thought so too. Check out their reactions below!

After making the promise to the students, I wanted to make sure I came back with more members from the National Pan-Hellenic Council in Tuscaloosa.

We were able to have close to 50 college students from the University of Alabama and Stillman College travel to Bessemer to surprise the students at New Life Christian School of Excellence.

The students at New Life had no idea this many college students were coming to spend the day with them. It was truly touching to see.

We had a dance party, the NPHC members got to stroll and show the students at New Life how they get down and some of the New Life students even showed off some of their moves.

Khaliel Eason, a senior student at the University of Alabama from Bessemer got one of the biggest surprises of the day.

After seeing a community service event in his fraternities group chat, he signed up thinking it was just another service event. It turns out, it was at the school that Eason attended as a kid.

"It's full circle for me." Eason said.

"Little did I know it was a school that I used to go to so once I found that out I was really excited to come."
