The City of Tuscaloosa is hosting its free ‘Tech-or-Treat’ event on Tuesday, October 26, 2021.  This free fun for all will occur at the Gateway located at 2614 University Blvd East from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This is a free community event and children must be accompanied by an adult.

According to the City of Tuscaloosa, this is similar to "trunk-or-treat.” The ‘Tech-or-Treat’ is where “families will go from table to table collecting candy. At each table, children are introduced to science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) opportunities by interacting with City departments and community organizations.”

Townsquare Media radio stations, 92.9 WTUG, 95.3 The Bear, ALT 101.7, and 105.1 The Block will be on location for the ‘Tech-or-Treat.” We look forward to seeing all the superheroes, doctors, firefighters, wizards, princesses, and more.

The rankings for this gallery were based on the 2018- 2019 Alabama Department of Education School Report Cards for the Tuscaloosa City School District and the Tuscaloosa County School District. This data was used because many categories in the report card for 2019-2020 was waived due to the pandemic. In the event of a tie, the schools with the same overall score were ranked by academic achievement scores. In all other cases of a tie, the schools were listed alphabetically.
