United Way of West Alabama to Host Drive-Thru Face Mask Giveaway
The United Way of West Alabama is doing its part to ensure everyone in Tuscaloosa has a face mask to prevent the spread of the novel Coronavirus.
The agency will host a drive-thru face mask giveaway on Thursday, August 13th from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at its downtown office on 6th Street in Tuscaloosa. Signage will be posted to direct traffic, as those who attend will be given a free cloth face mask.
The State of Alabama continues its mask mandate through August 31st, with Alabama Governor Kay Ivey recently urging all residents to wear a mask as a preventive measure against COVID-19.
