‘County Classic’ Reunion Packs H&H Farms With Crowd
It seems to be a new trend in the West Alabama area and it's attracting people from all over. Coming back and represent your high school class is for more than just the 10 year or 25 year class reunion.
Class Day Out is a concept that many schools have adopted in the area. Over the weekend, a Class Day Out event for Tuscaloosa County High School alumni and friends was hosted at H&H Farms just weeks after Hillcrest alumni did the same.
"We created this event from a post made from a student," said Jarmarcus Taggart, one of the key people responsible for the event that attracted close to 1500 people.
Allen Ball joined Taggart to help make the event happen along with dozens of other Tuscaloosa County High school alumni.
Even though the event came together in less than 30days, the planning was nonstop according to Taggart.
"It took so much time away from my family, my son Khaza's six birthday was the day before the event and I didn’t have anything for him but shoutout to his wonderful mother Kaycee for understanding and stepping up as always."

The Class Day Out event which has been dubbed the "County Classic" didn't have a single act of violence or trouble, and its attendees consisted of Tuscaloosa County High alumni as well as friends of alumni.
"Having something like this meant a lot. We could not have done this without God and every helping hand that was apart of this as well as our supporters," said Taggart.
"Being a younger alumni and having the older alumni come out and support us meant a lot. They were able to enjoy time with the younger alumni without any problems."
When asked about any last words regarding the event, Taggart said, "We were able to really let people see that WE know how to control the traffic!"
