Who Has The Best Apple Cider In Alabama?

I'm slowly learning that fall in Alabama is a huge deal. After being in Florida all of my life, I'm loving the change because we don't even have fall. It's either summer or spring.

Being that I'm participating in fall for the first time, I'm trying to try as many new things as possible this year. Drinking apple cider is one of them, and it's National Apple Cider Day! It's not that we don't drink apple cider in Florida, but I've never had fresh-pressed apple cider from an apple orchard.

After deciding to search for fresh apple cider, I wondered who had the best apple cider in the state. I think I found the answer. According to Only In Your State, the best apple cider in Alabama comes from Scott's Orchard in Hazel Green, Alabama.

Scott's Orchard sits on 1200 acres and offers 18 varieties of apples! Wow!

I visited their Facebook page to see their reviews. Their average rating was 4.9 out of 5 stars. I had to dig deeper. I wanted to see the reviews on their cider specifically.

One review mentioned the beautiful scenery as they took maternity pictures at the orchard, but spoke highly about the cider. I didn't know they even sell apple cider slushies!  "They were so friendly. We had so much fun taking pictures there and picking apples. The frozen apple cider in the shop was so amazing. The prices are very reasonable. I would recommend this place for sure!!!"

Another review stated "We thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice people, beautiful apples and cider. We pick peaches here too!"

I can't wait to take a day trip to Scott's Orchard. Hopefully, my experience is as wonderful as the others I read about. Feel free to send me other Alabama cider suggestions on Instagram @BigDawgDreDay.
