1051 The Block Turned Up With UA!

Over the weekend The Block participated in a block party for the students at the University Of Alabama right before the 5th Annual Tide Tipoff.

The block party  was held right outside of the Coleman Coliseum & featured giveaways, free food from Texas Roadhouse, Krispy Kreme, Whataburger, Taco Mama and The Baked Bear! The students had a great time and with The Big Dawg DreDay on the turntables, you know it was a party! Check out some of the footage fro the event!

The students also had a chance work on their shot because inside the Tide Tipoff, they could participate in the half-court shot for a chance to win $10,000! As if that wasn't enough, they could also participate in the three-point contest and possibly go home with an apple watch!

We had a ball on the campus of UA with the students! We look forward to doing more on campus and having more fun with our listeners across west Alabama!
