"I’m so proud of the CHILDREN that took us on such an emotional journey as they portrayed the themes of war, grief, betrayal, and forgiveness," said Tessa Russell, Owner of 3D Dance.

The recital featured a replica of the actual Hamilton broadway set and over 60 props built by the "prop dads" of 3D Dance. The recital also had over 100 prop settings throughout the show.

"From sets, costuming, lighting, props, dance steps, and more, it takes a massive team of people to create a production of this magnitude," said Russell.

"The entire audience was swept away in their convincing storytelling despite the main characters being between the ages of 13-18. They did not throw away their shot on the stage where it happened. There’s never been a prouder dance teacher than me."

The performers of 3D Dance even got a special shoutout from an actual Hamilton broadway performer before the recital. Ebrin R. Stanley who is currently playing James Madison and Hercules Mulligan in Hamilton shared a backstage video shouting out the performers of 3D Dance just days before opening night.

3D Dance has summer dance classes starting June 10. The classes are for ages 18 months -18 years old. You can learn more by visiting their website.
