There are so many random home remedies for sicknesses I've heard of in the past but this one is different.

I've recalled someone telling me that onions in your socks will help fight infections.

Although I never tried it, there are people who swear by it.

I thought I was on to something with my little pot of boiled water and essential oils but there are remedies out there that blow that out of the water.

Garlic

There is a TikTok video that swears that garlic can help you fight off a cold and help you feel better overall.

Have you tried it?

Potatoes

Believe it or not, there are people on TikTok claiming that this specific vegetable can be used to draw out toxins, mucus, and more from your body.

The method is simple.

Slice a potato, leave it pressed against your foot with a sock over it while you sleep and the change of color indicates the toxins removed from your body.

Seems like that's not all the way true according to this video.

It seems like another vegetable is sweeping TikTok with claims of being a super healer for colds, the flu and other sicknesses.

Would you believe a simple sliced onion and water could help fight off infections?

According to TikTok, it could.

Surprisingly, people all over the app are trying it and making claims that it worked!

Their sickness either subsided or got better, and fast!

I don't know about you, but when I get sick, I become desperate for a cure for my sickness.

Would you every try this method?
