“This event is one that is special to me and the fact that we get an opportunity to serve the community means so much," said Joseph Eatmon.
"Last year, we had over 500 people from all walks of life sit together, talk, and share a meal."
There will be live entertainment provided by The Lock'd Band and music curated by The Big Dawg DreDay.
"There aren’t many events where you get to see people of all cultures, demographics, and socioeconomic statuses come together. This year we wanted to give the community a special treat by adding a live band and DJ. Our mission at Shelton State Community College is simply to help people. This is another opportunity to do just that”
Sponsors for this year's event include Spades Restaurant, Alabama One Aspire Foundation, PARA, Dee Banks, and Reenter Reclaim.
