FBI to Join Search for Missing Walker County Man, $5,000 Reward Offered

Federal police will join sheriff's deputies and other local law enforcement in the search for a Walker County man who may have been missing for more than two months now.

In a post to Facebook late Wednesday night, the Walker County Sheriff's Office said they have been searching for weeks for Milton Daniel Frost, a 44-year-old man missing from the Oakman community.

Frost is a white male, just over six feet tall, reportedly weighing around 185 pounds. He has blue eyes and brown hair, and was last seen in the Kings Mill Road area driving a 2007 Hyundai Azera that is beige or tan and bears an Alabama tag 64DY501.

The sheriff's office said Frost's landlord reported him missing on March 2nd, but that was allegedly over a month after the man was last seen.

Still, local police have spent all month and "a great deal of manpower and hours" trying to find Frost.

Police said they have interviewed 40 witnesses, executed six search warrants, spent no less than 360 hours on foot searches, deployed their helicopter three times, sent out cadaver dogs, and much more in their quest for answers.

Still, as of Thursday, despite five incidental arrests during the investigation, police have still not located Frost. The sheriff's office announced they are now offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to locating Frost, and that after this weekend, the Federal Bureau of Investigation will come to Walker County to assist in the search.

"This continued effort from the Walker County Sheriff’s Office will not stop until Mr. Frost is found," they pledged. "We will continue to search, we will continue to inquire, and we will continue to flood the community until the truth of this situation has come to light."
