The Horror Tuscaloosa to Host Special Edition Valentine’s Event This Weekend

Couples can experience an thrill while celebrating Valentine's Day through a special edition two-night event hosted by The Horror Tuscaloosa.

Mark Bosch, one of the owners of The Horror said the haunted house attraction will present "Your Heart's Desire" on Friday and Saturday night. Bosch said the event was designed to allow an untraditional way to celebrate the day of love with all of Tuscaloosa.

"Couples are looking for something different," Bosch said. "Most couples are going to go out to dinner or to the movies but we wanted to give people a unique and fun way to celebrate."

Bosch said the featured event will look different from the typical scenery the Halloween series offer, but will include couples, wedding and marriage elements to play on the theme.

"A lot of people make the joke that when you get married that means 'your life is over' so it's a play on that idea."

The event will have shows beginning from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. each night and will cost $20 per person. Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.thehorrortuscaloosa.com.

Bosch said children are welcome to attend, however youth ages 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Bosch said the owners are not responsible "if you pee your pants" from the thrills.

Local residents have the opportunity to ear a free pair of tickets by commenting their favorite "crappy candy heart saying" on The Horror Tuscaloosa's Facebook page. The winner will be selected on Thursday evening.
