LOOK: Arch Manning Takes Visit to Tuscaloosa
The No. 1 quarterback and overall player in the 2023 recruiting class, Arch Manning, made his first official visit to Tuscaloosa this weekend, joining several other top end recruits as the Tide looks to bolster its upcoming class.
Manning was joined by a group of fellow top talents at their positions, including five-star offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa and five-star linebacker Anthony Hill as well as others.
Manning, hailing from Isidore Newman High School in New Orleans, is an electrifying quarterback prospect that is likely one of the most highly sought after players of all time.
Featuring a tall, strong frame capable of delivering the ball downfield, Manning also possesses elite pocket awareness and decision making.
247Sports' Cooper Petagna says, "In addition to possessing all the physical tools desired at the quarterback position, Manning plays the game with exceptional intuition and awareness, showing the ability to command and navigate the game at a very high level."
Alabama already holds a commitment from another 2023 quarterback in fellow Louisiana product Eli Holstein who made his decision official on May 24 with a social media post.

While many expected the highly regarded quarterback to possibly remove the Tide from contention following Holstein's commitment, Manning appears to be holding firm in his own recruitment.
No official decision date has been set yet, but Manning said last October to John Garcia, Jr. of Sports Illustrated, "I think I'll have a good idea, a good feeling, probably around next summer or next spring. Right now, I have no idea"
Only time will tell whether or not Alabama lands the seemingly once-in-a-lifetime prospect, but regardless of where Manning commits, the Tide is in good hands.
