On Monday, Najee Harris posted a picture of him working out with NFL legend Adrian Peterson on Twitter.

Peterson has rushed for 14,820 yards and 118 touchdowns in 14 NFL seasons. He is a three-time NFL rushing yards leader, owns the record for most rushing yards in a single game and won the MVP award back in 2012.

In four seasons at Alabama, Harris averaged 6.0 yards per carry and rushed for 3,843 yards and scored 46 touchdowns. He also hauled in 80 receptions for 781 yards and 11 touchdowns.

The California native leaves Tuscaloosa as the school's all-time leader for total touchdowns in a career with 57, the career leader for rushing scores with 46 and his 3,843 career rushing yards also rank atop the Alabama all-time list. Harris also ranks second all-time in career all-purpose yards with 4,624.

ESPN NFL draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. raved about Harris on SportsCenter Thursday. "Love this kid, love the way he competes, everything about Najee Harris," said Kiper Jr. "He's a baller. All of these guys came back for a year not only to get better but win a national title. And they did both. I think when you look at Najee's running style, patience, finishing of runs and the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. And the ability to just always have great ball security."

Last week, Harris signed a contract with Nike, joining Jaylen Waddle as the second Crimson Tide player to ink a deal with the company in this year's draft.

The Miami Dolphins at No. 18, the Pittsburgh Steelers at No. 24 and the Buffalo Bills at No. 30 are all viewed as teams that could take a running back in the first round.

The NFL draft will begin Thursday, April 29th and air on ESPN.
